All Africa Festival is coming to Dubai

The three-day festival will showcase the vibrancy of Africa in Dubai

If you’re looking to experience the rich diversity of Africa in Dubai, you’ve got to check out this festival coming to Burj Park, in Downtown Dubai.

The All Africa Festival is the region’s largest showcase of pan-African cultures, which brings together the region’s residents and expats to experience the continent’s vibrant energy, beauty, and diversity.

The three-day cultural extravaganza is being held from Thursday October 21 to Saturday October 23 on the grounds of Burj Park in downtown Dubai with Burj Khalifa as a backdrop.

The festival is a celebration of Africa and the African diaspora, and residents and tourists are invites to enjoy African dishes, performances from local and global artists, heritage-focused activities, fashion exhibits and art installations.

The event was first curated in 2018 to showcase Africa’s food and entertainment to UAE expats. Now the event has grown in partnership with Emaar. The festival aims to contribute to the redrafting of the narrative about Africa – particularly the region’s arts, culture, and entertainment scenes.

The family-friendly event welcomes African and non-African cultural groups as well as inbound tourists for a fun atmosphere, exhibits, and experiences. The event is free to the public, but pre-registration is required to adhere with social distancing requirements.

“We are thrilled to be bringing back AFF this year, an event first curated in 2018 with the desire to showcase Africa’s vibrant food and entertainment experiences to a growing expat community in the UAE and the region,” said Nina Olatoke, CEO and Co-Founder of the All Africa Festival.
